What is a contract?

A contract is a legal act by which one or several parties establish, change or terminate a legal relationship. contracts The parties to the contract freely determine its content, within the limits set by the legislation in force.

Contracts can be concluded between people even if they are not expressly provided for in the law. However, they are valid only if they do not contradict the general principles of law and the interests of the parties. For example, the contractual parties may enter into a contract for a collaboration which is not specifically regulated by law.

Any contract is linked to reasonable protection of the interests the parties wish to realize. Compliance of wills as naturally as possible is an important condition for any contractual obligation to be fulfilled.

Legal basis : Contracts are mainly regulated by the Albanian Civil Code.
