September 15 is attributed to human’s capacity to learn online. In other simple words, today is the 5th anniversary of National Learning Day in the US.
The need for education systems was conceived with the expansion of the first civilizations. Then, the rapid development of technology brought new resources and changed the traditional educational methods. Nevertheless, it was the pandemic which in the blink of an eye made the whole world enroll online.
Nowadays students are supplied with various online opportunities. From specialized courses, seasonal schools, and training – to bachelor or master studies – they can enroll online, at any time, from the comfort of their home.
What’s the purpose of education?
To make the world a better and easier place to live! Even though it might be the longest way.
Special considering: This is not a post deep-wallowing into philosophical affairs. On the other hand, we can’t help but be responsible to pass what we know. “It’s easy to make things hard, but hard to make them easy.” Yet, some things are true whether you believe in them or not. For example, the need for legal technology education. From “101 Things I learned in Law Schools” we can tell that laws change, and Universities need to innovate their teaching.
Happy National Online Learning Day!
