Solid Waste Management Company, in Korça Region announces the vacancy of a Lawyer. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Practices the law
• Provides legal advice
• Drafts legal documents
• Represents the institution before the administrative or judicial authorities of all levels in order to protect the interests of society
• Continuously administers all procurement procedures to be conducted by KRWM
• Administers personnel files
• Performs any other duties as assigned to him by the General Administrator

Conditions and special criteria

• To have Albanian nationality
• Full capacity to act
• Excellent written and spoken Albanian language
• To be in health conditions that allow him to perform the relevant job
• To possess the necessary professional skills for the respective job
• Not to have been convicted by a final court decision of committing a crime or of committing an intentional criminal offense
• Not to have taken disciplinary action of dismissal due to a serious disciplinary violation

Special requirements

• Studies in Law
• Work experience in the relevant field, not less than 5 years
• Knowledge of public law, procurement and contracts
• Knowledge of regulations, financial legislation and standards, and the Labor Code
• Good computer knowledge, advanced skills in Excel
• Very good knowledge of English
• Advantage: knowledge of other languages

• Knowledge of Law no. 9901, dated 14.04.2008 “On entrepreneurs and companies”
• Knowledge of Law no.7961, dated 12.07.1995 “Labor Code of the Republic of Albania”, amended
• Knowledge of Law no.162, dated 23.12.2020 “On Public Procurement”
• Knowledge of the Decision of the Council of Ministers no. 285, dated 19.05.2021 “On the approval of public procurement rules”
