The Municipality of Klina announces the application for a Legal Specialist.
Job description
- Implements the working plan and provides services to citizens in the field of civil status
- Addresses citizens’ requests for correcting mistakes made in the registration of name, surname and subsequent registrations
- Registers dates of births, marriages and deaths and prepares registers according to the requests of municipal directors regarding the civil status
- Performs any service in accordance with the citizens requests for the issuance of birth certificate, death and marriage certificates; certificate of marital status; proof that the person is alive (alive); certificate of marital status
- Receives various reports from other municipalities for amendments in documentations and compiles various reports for other municipalities
- Drafts and completes various statements and interrogates witnesses in the presence of the parties for different types of registrations or issuance of certificates
- Maintains and saves various registers and books with data on births, deaths and marriages
- Performs other duties in accordance with laws and regulations which may reasonably be required from time to time by the supervisor.
General RequirementsTo be a citizen of the Republic of Kosovo;
- To have full capacity to act;
- To be fluent in one of the official languages, in accordance with the Law on Languages;
- To be medically fit to perform the relevant task;
- Not to be convicted by any final decision for committing a criminal offense intentionally;
- Not to have in force any disciplinary measure of the removal from the position of a public official.
Formal requirements
- Diploma of university studies in one of the following fields: Law or Public Administration
- Special formal qualifications
General requirements
- Professional knowledge in the relevant field of work, gained through education and basic training;
- Ability to understand and implement guidelines to improve efficiency;
- Knowledge of standard administrative / technical procedures in the given field;
- Ability to work on their own initiative to implement certain plans and procedures;
- Good communication skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
